Knowing Your Roots: The Effects of Ethnic Identity on Adolescent Mental Health and Discrimination
Abstract
Mental health difficulties are prominent in minority youth. Further research is needed in understanding the impact of discrimination and ethnic identity on youth mental outcomes. Using data from Project ADEPT this study explores prevalence and associations between discrimination and mental health difficulties and whether ethnic identity can moderate these connections.
