Back to School: The Impact of Parental Factors on Student Engagement Outcomes Among Resettled Refugee Children in the U.S.
Abstract
This study examines associations between micro, mezzo, and macro level parental factors and student school engagement outcomes among U.S. resettled refugee children. Findings suggest that certain parental factors likely influence refugee children's experiences at school thus indicating the need for a multi-dimensional approach when assessing the wellbeing of refugee students.
