- To Work or Not to Work: Perceived Stress in Working vs. Stay-at-Home Mothers
- Abstract
- There is debate over stress levels between stay-at-home and working mothers. Our study measured perceived stress in both working and stay-at-home mothers and found no significant difference (p = .838). This demonstrates mothers should make personal decisions regarding employment, as stress appears to vary by individual not by employment status.
