STEM Internships for Native American Students: Mentors' Perspectives
Abstract
Native Americans remain underrepresented and face barriers in STEM fields. We interviewed mentors from the Chief Dull Knife College science internship program and analyzed their evaluation of the program, including the long-term impact the internship has for students, their own growth as mentors, and how the internship expands college programs.
