Poster Title
Refugees and Religion: The Impact of Religious Coping on Emotional Distress and Resiliency
Abstract
I investigated the relationship between religious coping and emotional distress and resiliency in refugees in the U.S. Results showed that higher frequency of religious coping was associated with increased emotional distress and increased resiliency, showing an increased need for clinicians to employ objectivity on the role of religious coping.
