- MAOa-Genotype-by-Environment Interactions on Central Monoamine Metabolite Concentrations in Infant Rhesus Macaques (Macaca Mulatta)
- This study assesses the impact of MAOa genotype and parental absence on dopamine, serotonin and norepinephrine activity over the first six months of life in rhesus monkeys. Results showed a genotype-by-rearing effect on the activity of all three neurotransmitters, indicating that genetic influences are modulated by early rearing.
